About
Dana Cohen, an Architect with over 20 years of experience in the field, works independently and collaboratively on residential and small scale commercial projects in the New England area.
Her passion lies in her attention to detail as well as her ability to manage the full scope of a project. She has a wealth of knowledge of technical construction issues, particularly as they relate to well performing envelopes and sustainable design. Equally important is her desire to make beautiful places that perform well and stand the test of time. She firmly believes that one of the most important aspects of successful projects is the team effort, whether that means collaboration to come up with the best design solutions, or forging good working relationships with the builders and craftsman who will bring those designs to life.
Prior to becoming a sole practitioner, Dana worked with several award winning firms in the Boston residential design market, including Patrick Ahearn Architect, LDa Architecture and Interiors, and Hart Associates.
Dana earned her professional degree in Architecture form Rhode Island School of Design. She is a licensed Architect in MA, a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society of Architects, NCARB, and she is LEED accredited.
